Doodles

I have it on good authority (himself) that there is no such thing as a seagull. They are infact just gulls  and these young hoodlams below are more specifically herring gulls.
I've had such a fantastic day doodling and photographing them in their natural environment.

They are what I would call 'naughty but nice' creatures, ever on the lookout for the smallest tidbit.
I was infact hit on the head by the ring leader who I suggest did it deliberately!

They always appear when you least expect them - from behind  -and frighten the living daylights out of you with their plaintive cries.

whether on their own or in a crowd they can cause quite a stir when their's food around.

Their  amber coloured glass-like eyes are unmoving and show no emotion.

And they always look irritated, cross and impatient all at the same time.

They are comical characters, especially when walking.

And so would you if you had feet like this!
